Training: Instruction to develop new skills.
Hi Bryan,
The “Unable to confirm your University ID” message usually means Azure's student verification service is not able to match your institution or enrollment details. It can happen even when your university email itself is working.
I would try these steps:
Open an InPrivate/Incognito window and go to the Azure for Students signup page.
Sign out of other Microsoft accounts first.
Use your official university email and enter your details exactly as they appear in your university records.
If the university name disappears when you click elsewhere, try entering it again and wait for the institution to appear as a selectable result before continuing.
If you still get “Unable to confirm your University ID,” the problem may be that your university/domain isn't being recognized by Microsoft's verification system.
In that case, contact Azure for Education Support and provide your university name, country, student email domain, and the screenshot of the error.
Also, the “Verification complete” text appearing before you actually submit doesn't necessarily mean the university verification has successfully completed; the final eligibility check can still fail.
I would not post your student ID or other personal documents publicly. Send those only through Microsoft's private support channel if requested.
Thanks
