    Hi,

You may be affected by this update to Microsoft 365 and Office on macOS: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/officeinstall/update-m365-office-macos-ios

    To help isolate the issue:

What version of macOS are you using (for example, Ventura 13, Monterey 12, Sonoma 14, or Sequoia 15)?

The solution I found is download the M Office license removal tool, run it, restart Mac, open excel and activate license with Office 2021 user name to log in to Microsoft.
