To download files from OneDrive on the web:

    1. Open OneDrive > My files.
    2. Select the files or folders to download.
      • For multiple items, select each item using the circle checkbox.
      • To select all files in a folder, click the circle to the left of the header row or press Ctrl + A.
    3. Select Download from the top navigation, or right-click and select Download.
    4. If prompted by the browser, choose Save or Save As.

    Important limits and behaviors:

    • The Download button only appears when files or folders are selected.
    • If the Download button disappears after refreshing the page inside a folder, go up one folder level and open the folder again, or close the browser tab and reopen the folder.
    • If multiple files or folders are selected, the browser downloads them as a .zip file.
    • If inside a folder and Download is selected without selecting any files or folders, the browser downloads the entire folder contents.
    • Files cannot be downloaded directly from the Shared view. Open the file or folder first, then download.
    • In OneDrive for work or school, Internet Explorer cannot download folders or multiple files; use Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
    • Download limits include 250 GB file size, 10,000 files total, and 10,000 files per folder.
    • For multiple compressed files such as .zip or .mp4, the limit is 10 GB per .zip and 20 GB overall.

If the current OneDrive app or Files On-Demand is causing access issues:

    1. Install all available Windows updates.
    2. Download and install the latest version of OneDrive.
    3. Restart the computer.

If OneDrive shows file access or copy errors such as 0x8007016a, try this path:

    1. Select the OneDrive icon in the taskbar notification area.
    2. Go to Help & Settings > Settings.
    3. If a Settings tab exists, clear Save space and download files as you use them.
    4. If there is no Settings tab, go to Sync and back up > Advanced settings and under Files On-Demand select Download all OneDrive files now.
    5. Reset OneDrive.
    6. Try the download or copy again.

The provided material does not include any feature to send a full OneDrive download link to Gmail.

    Hi, JAINIL

Sorry for this unwanted experience. I wouldn’t keep trying the same web download steps if you can’t select even one file.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Use the OneDrive folder on your computer instead of the website. Open File Explorer and look for your OneDrive folder. If it’s there, you can copy files from it to a folder outside OneDrive. First make sure the files have actually downloaded: on Windows, right-click the folders you need and choose Always keep on this device, then wait for the green check marks before copying. You’ll need enough free space for the files.

If folders are missing from the computer, open OneDrive’s cloud-icon settings, go to Account > Choose folders, and check that the folders you need are selected for syncing.

I can’t provide a link that emails your entire OneDrive to Gmail as a ZIP. Once you have a verified local copy, you can compress it yourself, but don’t delete anything from OneDrive until you’ve checked that the copy opens. If the computer method also fails, contact OneDrive support and include a screenshot showing the missing controls.
