Hello Team,

I am unable to find Adobe Acrobat Reader in the Microsoft Intune Enterprise App Catalog.

I navigated to:

Intune Admin Center → Apps → All Apps → Create → Enterprise App Catalog app

and searched for the following keywords:

Adobe Acrobat Reader

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Adobe Reader

Adobe Acrobat

However, no Adobe Acrobat Reader application is returned in the search results.

Could someone please confirm:

Is Adobe Acrobat Reader currently available in the Enterprise App Catalog? If not any plans in the future developments?

Are other administrators able to see Adobe Acrobat Reader in their Enterprise App Catalog?

We have Enterprise App Catalog available and are trying to deploy Adobe Acrobat Reader through the catalog rather than packaging it manually as a Win32 application.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Adobe Acrobat Reader does not appear to be currently available in the Intune Enterprise App Catalog based on the published app lists in the provided documentation. The catalog list includes Adobe AIR, but not Adobe Acrobat Reader.

A related Intune document does list Adobe Acrobat Reader as a protected partner productivity app for iOS/iPadOS and Android, which is separate from the Enterprise App Catalog for Windows apps.

For requesting an app to be added to the Enterprise App Catalog, Microsoft directs customers to use the Microsoft Feedback Portal under Enterprise App Management (Intune add-on) and include:

    1. Application publisher
    2. Application name
    3. Download URL

    Microsoft also states:

    • Enterprise application management supports Windows Win32 applications (exe and msi) in the catalog.
    • Microsoft makes no guarantee that a requested app will be added.
    • Microsoft provides no SLA or timeline for adding requested apps.

    So, from the available documentation:

    • Adobe Acrobat Reader is not shown as currently available in the Enterprise App Catalog.
    • No published commitment or timeline is provided for future availability.
    • Other admins would be expected to see the same published catalog contents unless the catalog changes after the documented list was published.
