Hello,

I use OneDrive and PowerPoint for work, and recently I have been getting weird pop-ups with numbers. As seen in the imaging, the first one says "1 3" and the options are 5 or 6. 5 lets me stay in PowerPoint, while 6 takes me to settings for the same app.

The second pop-up is newer, "2 4" with only one option of 7. This shuts down the app.

Both pop-ups are only in PowerPoint, but they cause both PowerPoint and OneDrive to glitch and close immediately after opening.

I have tried closing all tabs and restarting the iPad, but that only works sometimes.

Thanks in advance

    Hi @Phoenix Galbraith,

Could you please let me know which iPad model you are using and what iPadOS version is currently installed? It would also be helpful if you could share the versions of PowerPoint and OneDrive currently installed on the device.

Based on the screenshots and your description, this behavior is quite unusual. From my experience, it appears more likely that PowerPoint is failing to load certain localized strings or UI resources, causing the dialog text and buttons to be displayed incorrectly as numbers. This does not look like the iPad's Voice Control "Show Numbers" feature, which normally overlays numbered labels across multiple interactive elements on the screen. In your screenshots, the numbers appear to be displayed within the dialog box itself, where the dialog text and button labels would normally appear.

As a first step, please make sure that PowerPoint, OneDrive, and iPadOS are all updated to the latest available versions, then test whether the issue still occurs.

If the problem persists after updating, please ensure that any files with unsynchronized changes have been safely saved or backed up. After that, try uninstalling and reinstalling PowerPoint, then sign back in and test again.

Please try these steps first and let me know whether the situation improves. If you have any updates, feel free to reply, and I'll be glad to continue assisting you.
