    Hi @Hunters,

Before deleting either folder, I recommend first confirming whether one of them is simply an alias (shortcut). On macOS 12.1 and later, the active OneDrive folder is typically located in ~/Library/CloudStorage/, while an alias to the previous location may still remain. If both entries open the same folder, do not delete the folder itself. Instead, remove only the outdated alias or Finder sidebar entry.

To identify which folder OneDrive is currently using, click the OneDrive cloud icon and select Open Folder/Show in Finder. You can also right-click each folder, choose Get Info, and compare the Kind and Where fields.

If they are genuinely separate folders, create a uniquely named test file in the active folder, wait until OneDrive reports Up to date, and confirm that the file appears in OneDrive online.

Next, compare the contents of both folders and look for any files that exist only in the folder you believe is the old one. Copy any unique files to the active OneDrive folder and allow them to finish syncing before making any changes.

Once you have confirmed that the old folder is no longer connected to OneDrive, quit the OneDrive app before renaming or moving that folder. It is a good idea to keep it temporarily as a backup and only move it to the Trash after verifying that all required files are available either in the active folder or through OneDrive online.

You may also want to check whether both the Mac App Store version and the standalone version of OneDrive are installed. Only one version should be installed and configured at a time.

Note: Please do not delete either folder until you have positively identified which one OneDrive is actively syncing. Removing files from a folder that is still connected to OneDrive may also remove those files from OneDrive online.

Please take a look when you have a chance. If anything is unclear or if you have any updates after trying these steps, please let me know and I'll be happy to assist further.

Thank you for taking the time.
