Training: Instruction to develop new skills.
Hi @kaihua zhou
Congrats on the verification, and thanks for the screenshot, it helps a lot. Here's the thing though: that "Congratulations" page is step 2 of 3. Academic verification only confirms you're a student. The subscription is created in the final step after you press Continue, where you accept the offer terms and complete the sign-up. If the page was closed there, nothing got created, which matches exactly what you're seeing.
So try this first:
- Go to https://azure.microsoft.com/free/students in a fresh incognito window and click Start free, signed in with the same outlook.com account.
- Since verification is already done, it should skip straight to the final step. Complete it.
- Then check portal.azure.com > Subscriptions (with filters cleared) and the Education Hub again.
If instead it shows "You are not currently eligible for this offer", the cause is different. Academic status and offer eligibility are two separate gates, and the second one depends on your Microsoft account's country/region. Azure for Students runs on global Azure, which isn't offered for accounts set to mainland China, where Azure is operated separately by 21Vianet. You can check your account's region at account.microsoft.com/profile. If it's China and you live there, no support ticket can change that outcome, sadly.
For a working support channel, use https://aka.ms/AzureEduSupport instead of the broken links you found. And just so you know, nobody on this forum can see your account or activate the subscription for you, that's only possible through that channel.
If this helped, please click Accept Answer so other verified students who hit the same wall can find it.
