What is the shortcut to get a sub/superscript on OneNote?

I've been searching all over the web trying to figure out the shortcut for a sub/superscript, the crtl/shift/minus did not work and just condensed all of my bullet points. I would prefer to do it directly from my keyboard and not go through the "tell me" section, as I could not find the "Aa" section

Previous replies are spewing out old information without testing. The correct ones are:

Apply superscript formatting. The Command button on macOS. +Shift+Option+Equal sign ( = )
Apply subscript formatting. The Command button on macOS. +Control+Option+Equal sign ( = )

    Hi Hayden,

You can follow the information provided by the forum's AI-suggested answer, as it's accurate. In OneNote for macOS, select the text that you want to format as superscript or subscript and use these shortcuts:

    • Superscript: ⌘ Command + Shift + + (Plus sign)
    • Subscript: ⌘ Command + = (Equal sign)

    For OneNote on Mac:

    • Superscript: ⌘ + Shift + +
    • Subscript: ⌘ + =

Another OneNote keyboard shortcuts reference for Mac lists:

    • Apply superscript formatting: ⌘ + Shift + Option + =
    • Apply subscript formatting: ⌘ + Control + Option + =

If one shortcut set does not work, it can vary by OneNote version or keyboard layout. The direct ribbon path is:

    1. Select the text.
    2. Go to Home.
    3. Choose Superscript or Subscript.
    4. Repeat the shortcut or click the button again to remove the formatting.
