Yep - AKS Automatic is out of preview and is Microsoft’s recommended default experience for most production workloads.
AKS Automatic is production-ready and is designed to reduce operational overhead. It provides preconfigured defaults, including built-in node autoprovisioning, automated upgrades, integrated monitoring with Prometheus and Container Insights, and security controls such as API Server VNet Integration.
Use AKS Standard instead when you require deep, explicit manual control over unique networking topologies, specialized node pool configurations, or custom upgrade cadences.
