Is your macOS the 27 Golden Gate version?
If your subscription was paid through Apple App store, uninstall the apps.
Then reinstall them from the App Store, and sign in, see if they activate. If they still don't activate, can you grab the version number for Word app for me please?
Yes it’s a macOS 27 golden gate . Not sure where to find version number for word . I’ll uninstall the app.
