{"code": "InsufficientCapacity", "message": "Request failed due to insufficient capacity. Retry using a different Azure Managed Redis size or region." }

Azure Cache for Redis

    Hello Mihai Dinsoreanu (QS),

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

    This error means the region and SKU/tier you selected temporarily have no free capacity for Azure Managed Redis, it's not a problem with your configuration, subscription, or template.

    1. Try a different region. Capacity is allocated per region, so this is the fastest fix. Check regional availability for Azure Managed Redis before switching, since Azure Managed Redis and the older Azure Cache for Redis have different regional footprints.
    2. Try a different tier or size. If you're on Balanced, try Memory Optimized or Compute Optimized, or move up or down a size within the same tier. Different tiers/sizes often land on different underlying hardware clusters, so a size change alone can succeed even in the same region.
    3. Retry after some time. Capacity availability is dynamic. If the region is a hard requirement, retrying the same configuration later sometimes succeeds once capacity frees up.
