Hi
After installing an updates on SQL Server 2022 i have problem with MDS. When i go to website and open a model I do not see data in it. Data are avaiable in views and by Excel addin. Is this some bug or I could have broke sth?

I’ve also experienced that CU27 fixes this issue. However, even after applying CU26 and CU27, it’s still not possible to create a new entity, and the attributes are not listed for an existing entity — which also means that new attributes cannot be created through the Web interface.

Your symptoms point to the MDS database schema not being upgraded after the patch - the most common cause.
You can try this in order:
Run the database upgrade. MDS Configuration Manager then Database Configuration then select your DB. If it prompts to upgrade, back up first, then run the Upgrade Database wizard.
If the wizard errors, check for an orphaned/alias user account - drop it, sp_changedbowner 'sa' if needed, re-run.
Recycle the MDS app pool and restart IIS.
Clear browser cache or try another browser.

Hi we have the same problem with our SQL2022 MDS installation after updating from version 16.0.4262.2 to version 16.0.4275.2.
When using the explorer in the browser to view data for a model/entity no rows are returned.. it lists the model/entities okay in the drop downs. But it is not returning any rows for the model/entity.
When connecting using Excel and the Addon, data is returned just fine.
I have run checkdb on the MDS database, not errors..
I have opened the master data services manager and connected to the MDS database.. Not upgrade necessary. It is running version 16.0.0.0.
I tried starting/stopping the IIS, recycling the app pool for the MDS.
Tried using Edge, Chrome, Cleared the browser Cache
No luck so far
Used to the SQL Profiler to ensure that something hits the MDS database, and i can see a lot of activity on the SQL side in the MDS database, so it looks like it connects okay
Looks like the upgrade somehow broke MDS?
