Hi Microsoft Support Team,

I successfully submitted a false positive file through the WDSI

portal (microsoft.com/wdsi/filesubmission). The web page showed the

submission was completed and returned a Submission ID, but the

"Submission history" page does NOT show any record for this

submission, so I cannot track the analysis progress.

Please help verify whether the sample was received and is being

analyzed.

=== Submission details ===

Submission ID: 0720534b-78d7-4af8-ad25-0277cd446426

Microsoft account used: [FILL IN, e.g. ******@outlook.com]

Submission time: [FILL IN, e.g. 2026-08-25 09:00 (UTC+8)]

Submission type: False positive (Software developer / Customer)

=== File details ===

File name: WhatsMinerTool-9.2.5.zip

File size: 3.18 MB

SHA-256: 2899C262649A5408E1B421BC9F1C303245A526A1486743C8EA23DECD56F123EE

Detection names reported:

  • Trojan:Win32/Suschillrfn
  • Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml

=== Software description ===

This file is the official management tool of WhatsMiner (MicroBT

mining hardware). It is used to configure, monitor, and upgrade

mining rigs via IP address. It is a management client, NOT a miner

itself. The detections above appear to be false positives.

=== What I have already tried ===

  1. Logged in with the SAME Microsoft account used for the submission
  2. Checked with multiple browsers (Edge / Chrome, including incognito)
  3. Refreshed and waited more than [FILL IN] hours
  4. The Submission history page still shows nothing

=== Request ===

  1. Please confirm whether submission 0720534b-78d7-4af8-ad25-0277cd446426 (SHA-256 2899C262...) is in the analysis queue.
  2. If the record is missing, please advise how to resubmit or how to look it up.

    Hi there,

    A generated Submission ID normally indicates that WDSI accepted the upload, but only Microsoft Defender Research can confirm whether it entered the analysis queue. The submission should appear under Submission history when signed in with the same account used during upload.

    Since it remains missing, contact Microsoft Support and provide the complete Submission ID, SHA-256, exact submission time and time zone, account used, and a screenshot of the success page. Avoid resubmitting the same archive until Microsoft confirms the original cannot be located, as this may create duplicate reviews. If your organization has Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, you can also escalate through the Defender portal’s Submissions page.

    Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
