An Azure service that is used to provision Windows and Linux virtual machines.
Hi Sanjay,
Since your TCP/HTTP health probe is already working, I would focus on the ICMP check performed by the SAP Business One installer.
Before running the installer, verify that the ILB VIP is actually owned and reachable by the active HANA node through your HA/cluster configuration:
- On the active HANA node, check that the VIP is assigned to the cluster resource.
- From the SAP Central Server, verify that
ping <VIP>returns successfully. - Make sure ICMP is allowed by the HANA node's OS firewall.
- Then run the SAP Business One HA installer.
SAP Business One HA documentation uses a shared virtual IP that must be accessible and can move between HA nodes. I would not manually assign the Azure ILB frontend IP as a permanent secondary IP on the VM NIC, as this can conflict with the cluster's VIP management.
Best regards, Vialetta
