Did anyone get stuck in a loop after this past weeks upgrade

So last week there was an upgrade that went out and after I restarted my computer, it was stuck in a loop, which told me:

Preparing Auto Repair

Preparing for Recovery

Diagnosing PC

Looking for Solution

Then afterwards went into a blue screen that told me the computer did not start properly and game me options I tried all of them without any of them working so I ended up preforming a reset.

The reset work, but once the computer did another upgrade, it did the same thing, this happened a few times I even had support help me, and that worked until I shut down my pc then the issue reappeared.

So last night before I shut down I suspended all updates. So I would like to know if anyone here might have honed in on which update caused this issue.

This boot loop you experienced has been reported on this forum for over a week, it is the optional preview update (KB5127936) released at the end of October that seems to be causing the problem.

Those optional preview updates are basically a beta version of the full monthly update for the next month, they can be hard to install and may also contain bugs.

Open the Settings App, go to Windows updates.

Below the updates is a switch to 'Get the latest updates as soon as they are released', disable that option and restart your PC, that will stop the optional preview updates installing on your PC and wait for the full November update to be released.
