I am unable to sign in to portal.azure.com using my hotmail account. Please help!

Dear Support team,
I am trying to login to portal.azure.com using my hotmail account. I am having a lot of difficulty. I have tried all options, including resetting how i sign in, removing and adding in Authenticator, etc. But no luck. I also run into 8 digits in hotmail vs 6 digits in portal azure.
I need access to portal.azure.com so i can get familiar before i can take the expertise elsewhere.
Please help. Thank you so much in advance!!!
