Completely power off the PC with Shift + Shut down, turn it back on after one minute, and then check whether the Bluetooth switch has returned.
1. Restore the Bluetooth switch
- Hold down Shift.
- While holding it, select Start → Power → Shut down.
- Wait one minute, then turn on the PC.
- Open Start → Settings → Bluetooth & devices and look for the Bluetooth switch.
Use Shut down, not Restart; this completely powers off the Bluetooth hardware and can restore a missing or disabled control. ^1^
If the switch is still missing:
- Right-click Start → Device Manager.
- Expand Bluetooth.
- Right-click the Bluetooth adapter—its name may contain “Bluetooth” or “Radio.”
- Select Update driver → Search automatically for drivers.
- Install anything offered and restart the PC.
- Also open Settings → Windows Update → Advanced options → Optional updates and install any available driver or firmware updates. ^1^
If Windows says the best driver is already installed, obtain the Windows 11 Bluetooth driver for the exact PC or motherboard model from its manufacturer’s support site, install it, and restart. ^2^
2. Connect the neckband
After the Bluetooth switch appears:
- Charge the neckband and place it in pairing mode. This commonly requires holding its power or Bluetooth button until an indicator flashes; check its manual for the exact method.
- Keep it close to the PC.
- Open Start → Settings → Bluetooth & devices.
- Turn Bluetooth on.
- Select Add device → Bluetooth.
- Select the neckband when its name appears. ^3^
If it is already listed but will not connect, select … → Remove device, put the neckband back into pairing mode, and add it again. ^3^
If Bluetooth remains unavailable
- Press Windows + A and ensure Airplane mode is off.
- Search Start for Get Help, open it, and run the automated Bluetooth troubleshooter.
- If Bluetooth does not appear in Device Manager, or the switch remains missing after installing the model-specific driver and firmware, contact the PC manufacturer. Microsoft notes that missing Bluetooth controls can indicate a driver, firmware, or Bluetooth-hardware error requiring model-specific support. ^1^
