Want to force date entries to be consistent by adding a control content 'field' in a Word doc table cell.

  • Click cell to select
  • Developer tab > Date picker content control icon
  • Select Developer > Properties > Set up properties as such

All my attempts have failed. Can someone tell me how to do it? AI didn't work out.

Jargon alert: A Content Control is not a field, in Word. These are different things.

You want a date like 8November2026?

    What are you getting instead?

    Try dMMMMyyyy.
