I purchased a Microsoft 365 Business Premium subscription using the same email address that I use for my personal Microsoft account.

The purchase was successfully completed and I received the confirmation email. However, I never received administrator credentials or information regarding the associated Microsoft 365 tenant.

When I attempt to access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, I receive the following message:

“Switch to an account that has permission. Your account doesn't have permission to view or manage this page. Login is not supported for consumer users without business presence.”

As a result, I am unable to access or administer the Microsoft 365 Business Premium subscription

    Hello Valentin Manole,

Thank you for providing the details.

To better understand how the subscription was set up, could you please confirm whether you purchased Microsoft 365 Business Premium directly from Microsoft or through a reseller or Microsoft partner?

During the purchase and initial setup process, do you remember being asked to create an organization name or an administrator username? Depending on the setup flow, an administrator account may have been created for the Microsoft 365 organization, and its username may end in onmicrosoft.com.

Please check the original purchase confirmation, setup emails, renewal notices, and invoices for any references to:

    • An administrator username
    • An organization or tenant name
    • A domain ending in onmicrosoft.com

Please note that the personal email address used to purchase the subscription or receive billing notifications is not necessarily the same identity used to administer the Microsoft 365 tenant.

If you remember the administrator account, please use it to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. If Microsoft asks you to choose an account type, select "Work or school account".

If you do not remember the administrator account or cannot find any tenant information, you will need to contact Microsoft Support. Please try to find the related hotline number to call the frontline and let them raise a ticket for you: Contact Microsoft customer support

(When you call the support number, you may hear an introduction of about 30 seconds such as "you can visit the link...". You can ignore this introduction and wait until you are presented with the options. Then press "1" as a business email user, and again "1" for technical help.
I also recommend calling during business hours. In my experience, it can be difficult to get through to the correct support queue, and automated systems don't always work as expected. If you can't get through on your first try, I suggest trying again later or at a different time)

Microsoft Support will need to verify which tenant the subscription was provisioned to, identify the initial administrator account, and confirm whether the Microsoft 365 business tenant setup was completed successfully. This verification cannot be performed through the public Community forum because Community users do not have access to Microsoft’s billing, tenant, or account systems.

    I hope this information helps.

    Best regards,
