Artifact Signing Public Trust verification link redirects to noPermission
Hello Microsoft Artifact Signing team,
I am setting up Artifact Signing Public Trust to sign a commercial Windows application. The existing organization identity validation is marked “Action Required.”
I completed the representative identity verification flow, but it failed during the facial verification step. After restarting the process, the existing “Complete your verification” link now redirects to credentials.microsoft.com/verify/noPermission before the verification flow opens.
The error says I must sign in as an authorized user of the Entra tenant used for enrollment. In Azure, my account is the subscription Owner and has the Artifact Signing Identity Verifier role on the signing account. Entra lists the account as a Member but also indicates it is external/B2B. Azure’s directory switcher shows only one directory. The verification page appears to authenticate against a different tenant from the one containing the signing resource.
Could you confirm whether this is a known tenant-association issue and advise how Microsoft can correct or reissue the link for the existing validation request, or update the authorized verification identity, without deleting or duplicating the request? I do not want to create another signing account or validation request.
I can provide request and tenant identifiers privately through an authorized Microsoft support channel if needed.
Thank you.
