Common causes of what looks like double billing are:

    1. A previously declined payment was charged again later, so the late payment and the next on-time payment appear close together.
    2. More than one Microsoft account is using the same card.
    3. Recurring billing is enabled on a subscription.
    4. A family member or someone with access to the card made a purchase.

    To resolve it:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft account and review Order history for multiple purchases of the same amount close together.
    2. Go to the Manage your payments page and select Investigate to look into an unrecognized or duplicate charge.
    3. If the charge does not appear in that account’s order history, check whether another Microsoft account is using the same payment method.
    4. Compare the last few months of bank statements with the Microsoft order history to confirm whether it is a true duplicate charge or a delayed retry of an earlier failed payment.
    5. If the charge is still unexplained, use Contact Support from Microsoft Support for billing help.

Please log in to your Microsoft account and go to Services & Subscriptions. Do you see the double charges there, and do they have the same description and amount?

If it’s a monthly payment, can you also check if a payment was made last month?

If there wasn’t enough money in your account last month, Microsoft will keep trying to take the payment. That’s why the missed payment and the next one might happen close together and look like a double charge.

See 'I've been charged twice': https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/i-ve-been-charged-twice-1370f860-c080-419a-8e77-a983389743a5

If you're sure you've been double charged, you can cancel the duplicate subscription by going to Manage Subscription to get the refund: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-get-a-refund-on-a-microsoft-subscription-67dca30b-b323-44d5-acc2-e02f9902c472

If you need further help or would like to have this double-checked, I recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support directly so they can look into it. Processing this requires Personally Identifiable Information (PII), which should not be shared here to protect your privacy and security.

Make sure you are signed in to your active Microsoft account.

Type "Chat with an agent" and press Enter.

Click the "Contact support" button at the bottom.

Choose the Products and services for which you need help.

Follow the on-screen prompts to connect with a live agent.

Or, select the "Call me back" option and complete the information so they can call you.
