Hi Kate O,
I understand why the Microsoft 365 page would make it appear that a subscription is required. However, Microsoft now uses Microsoft 365 branding across its Office download pages, and this does not automatically change your Office Home & Business 2019 licence into a subscription.
Go to Services & subscriptions, sign in with the Microsoft account used to purchase or redeem Office 2019, and select Install beside Office Home & Business 2019.

Keep in mind that Office 2019 reached the end of support on October 14, 2025 and no longer receives security updates. If the product is visible in the account but no download begins, please share what happens after selecting Install, without including the email address or product key.
