Not Recieving email from at least 1 specific email address

Hi, I've learned that my email isn't receiving email from people. Especially one specific email.

I've checked my junk it's not there. They also keep getting a bounce back on my email too.

With that being said, they have responded to emails. I've sent them (with attachments) it's only when they send me a email directly unprompted by me.

    Welcome Amanda McDonnell,

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry you're missing emails from this person. Since they're getting a bounce-back, the message isn't reaching your mailbox at all, which is why it isn't in your Junk folder. To narrow this down, could you tell me:

    • What does the bounce-back say? Please ask the sender for the error text, especially any code like 550 5.x.x. Remove any personal details before posting it.
    • What is the domain of their email address (the part after the "@"), for example gmail.com or a company domain?
    • Is your address @outlook.com, @hotmail.com or @live.com, and do you sign in at Outlook.com in a browser?
    • Do other people get bounce-backs too, or only this one sender?

While you gather that, please try these steps in Outlook.com in your browser:

Step 1: Check your storage Go to Settings > Account > Storage and make sure your mailbox and Microsoft cloud storage aren't full.

Step 2: Check your Blocked and Safe senders Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email.

    • Under Blocked senders and domains, remove the sender's address or domain if it's listed.
    • Under Safe senders and domains, select Add and enter the sender's full email address, then select Save.

Step 3: Check your rules and forwarding

    • Go to Settings > Mail > Rules. Turn off any rule that moves, deletes or forwards mail from this sender.
    • Go to Settings > Mail > Forwarding and make sure forwarding isn't sending your mail to another address.

Step 4: Ask the sender to send a new test email

    Looking forward to your update.
