Hello,
I’m having trouble updating my profile picture. When I upload a new image, it doesn’t appear correctly or doesn’t change at all.
Could you please advise me on the correct steps or any image requirements I should follow?
Thank you,

Hello @MEERA KHALID DAOUD MOHAMED ALMAAZMI ,
Thanks for reaching out. If you're using a Microsoft 365 business account, you can update your profile picture through the Microsoft 365 My Account portal.
Please follow these steps:
If the picture still doesn't change
Try signing out and signing back into your Microsoft 365 account, then check your profile again.
If you cannot see the Edit option or the upload is unsuccessful, your organization's Microsoft 365 administrator may have restricted profile-picture changes. The administrator will need to check the relevant organization settings.
Please also allow some time for the updated picture to appear across Microsoft 365 services such as Teams and Outlook.
For more information, see Microsoft's official guide:
Add or update your work or school profile picture.
I hope this helps!
Kind regards,

In Teams for business, select your picture twice, upload an image no larger than 4 MB, save it, and then sign out and back in if the old picture remains cached.
Teams desktop or web
Teams mobile
Use an image of 4 MB or less, which is the maximum supported profile-photo size. The available Microsoft documentation does not specify a required pixel dimension for a personal Teams profile photo. ^2^
Teams caches profile information: the Teams service can cache general user information for up to three days, while a client may cache profile photos for up to 60 days. ^3^
If the web version shows the new picture but the desktop app does not, clear the desktop client cache as a targeted next step:
Ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to check whether the Outlook on the web mailbox policy has SetPhotoEnabled disabled. For Exchange Online users, that setting prevents users from adding, changing, or removing their profile pictures. ^5^
An administrator can also update the photo directly:
This administrator procedure requires an appropriately privileged administrator; the documented admin-center procedure specifies Global Administrator. ^2^
