The iOS app is working as expected but the Windows app hides the status icon when you mute a person/group on Teams.

I already raised the question here but Jade at Microsoft stopped replying, so how do I get Microsoft to fix this defect?

    Hi @Stephen B

I apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused.

Based on the information currently available, this behavior is considered by design rather than an unexpected issue. As such, there is no estimated timeline for a fix. Instead, any change to the current behavior would likely need to be implemented as a new feature or design enhancement and then rolled out in a future product update.

I can see from the discussion that you have already provided feedback and raised valid concerns. This type of enhancement has been requested by other users as well. However, as a regular user, I do not have any ability to intervene in Microsoft's product development process, or provide a timeline for if or when a change might be implemented.

At this point, the only option is to wait for feedback from the product team and continue to submit or upvote feedback through the official feedback channels, as these are regularly reviewed by the Teams product team.

I understand this may not be the answer you were hoping for, but unfortunately there is nothing further that can be done from a community forum.

You can also ask your IT admin to open a support ticket and raise this issue directly to the Microsoft support team.

    Thank you for your understanding.
