Request for Exception/Extension: AI Skill Fest 2026 Certification Voucher Expired Due to Cancellation

Hello Support Team,

I participated in the AI Skill Fest 2026 and received an Azure certification voucher. Following the promotion rules, I successfully booked my exam (AZ-900) before the August 18th deadline and scheduled it for October 18th, 2026.

Unfortunately, due to an urgent, unexpected work conflict on October 18th, I had to cancel the scheduled exam appointment. I intended to reschedule it immediately, but I realized too late that the voucher code itself has now expired in the Pearson VUE system because the original booking deadline (August 18th) has passed. Pearson VUE support verified they cannot reactivate it on their end and advised me to contact Microsoft directly.

Since my initial registration was entirely compliant with the promotional deadlines, I kindly request if an exception can be made. Is it possible to issue a replacement voucher code or grant a brief extension so I can reschedule and complete this certification?

I have my original Pearson VUE registration details and cancellation confirmation ready, and I am happy to provide them via a private message if needed.

It is not possible to do this. As you cancelled, it is not possible to (re)schedule using the voucher.

Microsoft is currently reviewing existing AI Skills Fest voucher-related support requests. Learners who contacted Microsoft Support regarding voucher availability or voucher expiration on or before September 1st, 2026 may be eligible for an exception review. If you already have an open support case, no further action is required at this time. Support requests submitted after September 1st, 2026 will not be considered under this exception process.
