How do teams usually split ownership when Azure data engineering is supported by external engineers?

I am curious about the practical side of this. If an internal team owns the business requirements and Azure environment, while additional engineers support ADF pipelines, Databricks transformations, and Power BI models, where do you normally draw the ownership boundary? For example, who should own pipeline standards, monitoring, deployment decisions, and production troubleshooting?

Interested in how others have structured this without creating a dependency on the external engineering team.

Hi @Maksood Ahmed Thanks, this is exactly what I was trying to get at. The at least one internal engineer has hands-on knowledge of each critical workload point is probably the one that matters most in practice, everything else, the Git, the CI/CD, the docs, kind of supports that but doesn't replace it.
