Hi Microsoft Engineer,

Could you assist on this issue?

  1. Tenant ID: 01d900ed-dfb4-40dc-9643-d16a63f54e1d
  2. Purpose use CloudShell: To deploy Trend Micro Cloud Gateway to secure services in Azure
  3. Email Approval: Which email should I send to? To enable Cloud Shell at tenant level

Much appreciate if you could assist on this matter.

Thank you

Hi Matrix DT Administrator & thx for join me at Q&A platform,

TenantDisabled is a tenant-level Cloud Shell restriction, not a problem with ur subscription permissions, browser, or storage account. Microsoft documents this specific error as something that can happen when Cloud Shell activity triggers automated fraud-prevention checks. Legitimate workloads can trigger those checks too, so it doesn't necessarily mean anyone did anything wrong. Unf, this isn't something a Global Administrator can simply switch back on in the Azure portal. Microsoft needs to investigate the restriction and re-enable Cloud Shell on their side.

I'd open an Azure support request and include the tenant ID, the exact error, and ur business justification: deploying Trend Micro Cloud Gateway to secure Azure workloads.

Regarding the approval email, there's no general public email address u need to send it to. If Microsoft requests tenant administrator approval, have ur Global Administrator provide written authorization through the support case or a private communication channel arranged by a Microsoft moderator. Don't post that approval or other sensitive tenant details publicly.

In the meantime, u can use Azure CLI or PowerShell locally to deploy Trend Micro, assuming the deployment instructions support that approach. The Cloud Shell restriction doesn't automatically prevent other Azure management methods from working.

    rgds,

    Alex
