new Epson xp1700 and dell laptop on windows 11 are not communicating for printing. Epson tech narrowed it down to something blocking the connection. I disabled Norton for a few minutes but no luck. He suggested that you might be able to solve problem.

    Hi,

Go to the Start menu > Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers, check if the printer is listed, click on it, and remove it.

Next, download the installer from this link:

    https://epson.com/Support/Printers/All-In-Ones/XP-Series/Epson-XP-7100/s/SPT_C11CH03201?review-filter=Windows+10+64-bit

Download the "Drivers and Utilities Combo Package Installer" from the link above.

After downloading, run the file as an administrator and follow the on-screen instructions.

    https://epson.com/faq/SPT_C11CH03201~faq-00007f3-xp7100

This applies if the printer is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.

While this is not a Microsoft website, it is the official site for the [XP-7100/EPSON].

    Thanks
