    Hello @Gabrijela Vratarić ,

May I ask why you need to contact the Microsoft Data Protection Team?

Please note that the Data Protection Team does not currently provide direct email support. Instead, you may consider alternative support options such as contacting Microsoft Support by phone or creating a trial Microsoft 365 tenant to submit a support request and seek further assistance.

If you are locked out of a Microsoft 365 tenant (for example, you are the sole Global Administrator and have lost access to Microsoft Authenticator), the Data Protection Team is typically engaged through Microsoft phone Support: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

    • When calling Microsoft Support, you may either hear a phone menu or speak with an automated assistant. If prompted by a menu, select "1" for Business support and then another "1" for Technical Support. If using the automated assistant, indicate that your issue is related to Authenticator, confirm that you are using Microsoft 365 for Business, specify that it is a company account, confirm that you are an administrator, that there is no other administrator available, and then request a service ticket.

Otherwise, you can try set up a new trial tenant and submit your support request:  Compare Office 365 Enterprise Pricing and Plans | Microsoft 365.

Once the new tenant is created, navigate to Microsoft 365 Admin center and create a support request: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn .

When prompted to choose a contact method, please select "Email".

During the process, you must clearly state that you are locked out of a different, pre-existing Microsoft 365 tenant where you are the administrator. Provide the following information about your locked account:

    • The domain name of your locked tenant
    • Your administrator account.
    • Any error messages you are receiving.
    • Details about the authentication issues you are experiencing.
    • Your proof of ownership.

    Important notes:

    • This new trial tenant will not give you access to any of the data or settings in your original locked tenant. It is solely a temporary means to contact Microsoft support.
    • Be prepared for Microsoft support to ask for verification of your identity and administrative rights for the locked tenant.
    • The resolution time might be longer as you are contacting support from a different tenant.
    • Remember to cancel the trial subscription for the new tenant once your issue with the original account is resolved to avoid any unintended charges. You can typically do this within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center under "Billing" -> "Your products."

I’d like to clarify that as a forum moderator, I am not part of the Microsoft Data Protection team. I do not have the ability to contact Microsoft Support on your behalf. Please consider me an end user as well, providing guidance based on experience and documented processes.

I hope this helps. If your situation is different from a tenant lockout scenario, please provide more details about why you need to contact the Data Protection Team.

    Kind Regards.
