Hello Microsoft for Startups Team,

My Microsoft for Startups business verification failed with the following message:

“We couldn’t verify your startup. We’ll switch you to a pay-as-you-go subscription once your remaining Azure credits run out or expire.”

I am using the current Microsoft for Startups experience in Azure Portal.

According to the Microsoft documentation, business/domain verification issues should be handled through Microsoft for Startups Program Support. However, the documented “Your Microsoft Team → Get program support” option is not available in my account.

I also tried the documented Microsoft for Startups support link (aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal), but it redirects me back to the Azure Portal.

I also tried Azure Portal → Help + support → Create a support request. The available options do not provide a Microsoft for Startups business-verification category, and the issue search does not proceed.

My startup information:

Startup: HireDev Technologies

Product: APILens

Country: India

Product website: https://apilens.rest

Company website: https://hiredev.net

I would like to request a manual review of my existing startup verification.

I have official business and tax documentation available and can provide it through a secure Microsoft support channel if required.

Could a Microsoft moderator please route this issue to the Microsoft for Startups Program Support / Business Verification team, or provide a secure way for me to submit the required verification documents?

I am not requesting a new Microsoft account or a duplicate application. I would like the existing verification to be reviewed.

Thank you.

For Microsoft for Startups business or domain verification issues, the correct path is Microsoft for Startups Program Support, because verification and compliance are in scope for that team.

Since the Get program support entry is missing in the Azure Portal, use the support path that matches the portal experience tied to the program version:

    1. If the startup joined after May 29, 2026
      • In Azure Portal, go to the Microsoft for Startups area.
      • On the startup homepage Overview tab, look for Your Microsoft Team.
      • Select Get program support.
    2. If the startup joined prior to May 29, 2026
      • Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal at https://portal.startups.microsoft.com/login.
      • Select the ? icon.
      • Choose Submit a Support Ticket.
      • Attach the verification error screenshot and supporting business documents.
    3. If using Azure Portal Help + support
      • That path is for Azure technical issues.
      • Program-specific issues such as business verification, benefits, credits, entitlement corrections, and portal access are handled by Microsoft for Startups Program Support, not standard Azure technical support.
    4. What to include in the support request
      • Screenshot of the verification failure message
      • Business registration documents
      • Tax documentation
      • Domain or company verification evidence
      • A clear request for review of the existing verification
    5. What Program Support can help with
      • Business or domain verification
      • Azure credit activation issues
      • Benefit redemption issues
      • Entitlement and ownership corrections
      • Portal access problems

Support coverage for Microsoft for Startups Program Support is 24/7 global coverage, with communications in English only.
