I can't read the timme and date in the taskbar because it's way too small. How do I make it larger without making Word and other apps have huge type size?

    Hi,

I don't think there is a built-in way to increase the size of the taskbar time and date without also affecting the display and text. However, if your main concern is making the time and date more visible, you can try this app from the Microsoft Store to see if it helps make them easier to read.

Windows 11 does not provide a separate setting to make only the taskbar clock and date text larger.

The supported ways to make taskbar text easier to read are:

    1. Make only Windows text larger:
      • Press Windows key + U
      • Go to Accessibility > Text size
      • Move the Text size slider to the right
      • Select Apply
This increases text used across Windows, such as title bars, menus, and icon text.
    2. Make everything on screen larger:
      • Open Start > Settings > System > Display
      • Under Scale, choose a larger percentage
This also enlarges apps and other screen elements. Some apps may require signing out and back in before the change fully applies.

If the goal is to avoid making Word and other apps much larger, use Accessibility > Text size first instead of changing Display > Scale.
