The bookings link I sent is not working says link is not valid. I've tried several fixes and nothing is working.

    Hi @Hyatt, Tamara,

Thank you for the update. Since you are using Personal Bookings and the issue is still happening after the troubleshooting, this appears to align with a broader service-side behavior that other users have also experienced with the same “This link is not valid” message.

Because of that, this is unlikely to be caused only by your browser, cache, or the specific page configuration.

If this is a work or school account, the best next step would be to ask your IT admin to check Service Health in the Microsoft 365 admin center for any advisory related to Bookings, and if needed, open a support request there so the support team can confirm whether the tenant is affected by the current issue.

If you are the admin yourself, I would recommend monitoring Service Health first rather than spending more time recreating the page, since this same symptom has been seen more broadly. If the problem continues, opening a support case would be the most appropriate next step.

I hope this helps clarify the situation. Please feel free to reply again if you have any further questions.

    Hi @Hyatt, Tamara,

Thank you for posting your issue.

If a Microsoft Bookings link shows This link is not valid, the problem is often related to the booking page status, the way the link was copied, or the page access settings.

    Please try the following:

The troubleshooting steps below are mainly for Shared Bookings. If you are using Personal Bookings / Bookings with me instead, please let me know and I can help adjust the checks for that scenario.

1/ Confirm the booking page is published
In Microsoft Bookings, open the affected booking page and check that it is currently published. A booking page must be published before others can access it.

    User's image

2/ Generate a fresh link from Bookings

    • Please copy the link again directly from Bookings > Booking page > Copy link rather than using a previously saved link or the browser address bar.
    • Additionally, I recommend using the built-in Copy Link option.
    • User's image

3/ Check the booking page access settings
If the option to require a Microsoft 365 account from your organization is enabled, external users will not be able to open the page. If you are sharing the link with people outside your organization, please review that setting.

4/ Test the new link in an InPrivate / Incognito browser window
This helps confirm whether the issue is related to browser cache, session data, or sign-in context. A similar public troubleshooting flow for Bookings uses this as a key validation step.

5/ Verify Bookings is enabled for the organization and affected account
If you are the admin, please check in the Microsoft 365 admin center that Shared Bookings is enabled for the organization and that the affected user still has Microsoft Bookings enabled in their assigned apps/licenses.

If the issue still continues after the checks above, the best next step would be to open a support ticket from the Microsoft 365 admin center so the Bookings support team can review the backend configuration for the affected booking page.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to update the thread with your results.

Validate whether the issue is with the link itself, the browser, or cached data.

    1. Test the link in a different browser or in a private/incognito window to rule out cached data or cookies causing issues. If it works there, clear cookies/cache in the original browser and try again.
    2. If the link is embedded (for example in a website or as an embed URL) and suddenly stopped working, clear cookies for the site or OneDrive/Office-related domains, then reload and test again. A cookies issue can cause valid links to fail with generic errors.
    3. If the link consistently shows as invalid for all users and all browsers, recreate and resend a fresh Bookings link from the Bookings page or app. Old or changed configurations can invalidate previous links.
    4. If the problem persists after these steps, check Microsoft 365 Service Health for any ongoing issues affecting Bookings or links, and contact Microsoft Support with details of the failing link and when it stopped working.
