Microsoft Account Doesn't Exist, Can't Log In Despite Having Access To It Just This Morning

I recently reinstalled my OS for my PC since I had a hacking problem just a few days ago. I was still able to log into my Microsoft account just this morning before I reinstalled my OS and wiped everything from my PC. I've purchased Minecraft there just this year, and was trying to log back into it just this morning but apparently this "Account does not exist", all of a sudden.

Would it be possible to get my account back? I have receipts, proof, everything that I do own this account and have recently been in it. Please do help, I have my last memories with my ex-girlfriend there, thank you.

    Hello, I’m Virginia.

It sounds like the Hacker has changed the email address of the account & deleted yours, if so then the account is unrecoverable, but I’ll give you some suggestions.

    Try recovering your account here:

    Hacked:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-recover-a-hacked-or-compromised-microsoft-account-24ca907d-bcdf-a44b-4656-47f0cd89c245

    Or:

    Can’t sign in:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/you-can-t-sign-in-to-your-microsoft-account-475c9b5c-8c25-49f1-9c2d-c64b7072e735

You can also try https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact & type Account Recovery in the box, then choose the Contact Support tab above & select Windows, then recovery from the drop-down menus.

I have further options if this doesn’t work.

If the sign-in now says "account does not exist", use the official recovery path in this order:

    1. Run the Sign-in Helper tool first. It checks the email address or phone number entered and tells what recovery action is available.
    2. If the email address is correct but still shows "The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist", review My username and password have stopped working from the sign-in help flow.
    3. If access was lost after suspicious activity, try password recovery from the sign-in page with Forgot my password and select I think someone else is using my Microsoft account.
    4. If the account recovery form is available, complete it from a device and location previously used to sign in. Include as much accurate history as possible, such as older passwords. Results are sent to the working email address provided, usually within 24 hours. If verification fails, the form can be retried up to two times per day.

    Important limits:

    • Microsoft support agents cannot send password reset links or directly change account details.
    • If two-step verification was turned on and none of the alternate verification methods are accessible, support cannot bypass that protection.
    • If the account has not been signed in to for more than two years, it may have been deleted and cannot be reopened.
    • Receipts and proof of purchase may help document ownership, but the supported recovery path is still the automated account recovery process.

If unusual sign-in alerts were received before this happened and access is regained, immediately go to Security basics and review recent activity, then change the password.
