A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
It seems to be the current version of OneDrive causing the issue. I have created a PowerShell script that uninstalls the OneDrive current version and reinstalls an older version that seems to be working on our devices.
Removes the machine-wide OneDrive install and reinstalls a specific older version, which is useful for rolling back a problematic build. Run it from an elevated PowerShell prompt (or as SYSTEM) on Windows PowerShell 5.1 or later.
What it does: stops OneDrive, uninstalls it, confirms removal, downloads the target version from Microsoft, verifies the Microsoft signature, installs it silently for all users, checks the installed version, and cleans up temp files. It exits with code 0 on success and 1 on failure.
To change the version: edit the $Version variable at the top.
Notes:
- It only handles the machine-wide install, not per-user installs.
- OneDrive may auto-update past the older version unless you block updates with policy.
- Test on a non-production machine first. Use at your own risk.
