Could you take a screenshot of the activation page on Settings (located at Settings > System > Activation), the output of slmgr /dlv (you can do this by opening Command Prompt as an administrator, copying that command, and then pushing enter).

@Tom Vernon that more than likely means there is a problem with the activation service in windows. The command slmgr /dlv [press return] should show details of the current licence.
As it is Windows 11 I would suggest trying the recovery method from Settings > System > Recovery > Fix problems using windows update, select Reinstall now. (it can take a while)
If the laptop was purchased with Windows 11 installed from a known brand manufacturer (HP, Dell etc.) it should have an OEM licence embedded in the bios.
