    Hi El,

Set screen time limits across devices

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/family-safety/set-screen-time-limits-across-devices

    1. If you have a Family Safety organizer role, sign in to your family at account.microsoft.com/family Sign in
    2. Select the tile for your family member. Tip You can only select tiles of accounts that you have added to your Family Safety group.
    3. Select the tab for the platform for which you want to set screen time for: Windows, Xbox or Mobile. Tip Mobile screen time only applies to Android devices.
    4. Select a day to add a schedule or edit the time limit. Select Finished when done. Tip

If the 10 PM cutoff is coming from Microsoft Family Safety, turn off the screen time limit for the child account in the family group.

    1. Open family.microsoft.com or the Microsoft Family Safety app.
    2. Select the child’s account.
    3. Open Windows/Xbox screen time settings.
    4. Select the affected day, then remove the time range or turn limits off.
    5. If needed, use the menu option to Turn limits off.

If the restrictions are still applied after changing the settings:

    1. Remove the screen time limits and add them back, or leave them off.
    2. Make sure the laptop is connected to the correct Microsoft account that is part of the family group.
    3. Restart the laptop.

If Family Safety is being enforced on an adult account or continues after settings were changed, run a safety refresh on the laptop:

    1. Press Windows + R.
    2. Type cmd and select OK.
    3. Run:
         schtasks /run /tn "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyRefreshTask"

    4. Restart the computer.

Note: the command only refreshes Family Safety settings on the device. It needs to be run on each affected device.
