Windows 11 currently supports customizing the lock screen background and widgets, but not removing the built-in clock/date from the lock screen.
What can be customized now:
- Go to Start > Settings > Personalization > Lock screen.
- Under Personalize your lock screen, choose Windows spotlight, Picture, or Slideshow.
- Under Widgets, remove widgets individually or turn Widgets Off to keep the lock screen cleaner.
What is not currently supported:
- There is no supported setting in the provided Windows 11 customization options to hide the native lock screen clock.
- Community guidance in the provided Microsoft Q&A also states that removing the clock and date from the Windows 10 and 11 lock screen is not currently possible.
