Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
Hello Amr Shalaby,
Sorry your rules aren't working as expected. That's frustrating when you're trying to keep junk under control.
As far as I can tell, Microsoft only says classic Outlook creates rules with Stop processing more rules set by default. For Outlook.com and Outlook on the web it's an optional checkbox. When it's on, later rules are skipped for any message that matches that rule. More here: Stop processing more rules in Outlook.
To check it:
- Go to Settings > Mail > Rules.
- Select Edit on a rule and clear Stop processing more rules.
- Select Save, then reload the page and open the rule again.
- Check the rule order, since rules run from top to bottom.
Could you tell me two things?
- After you save and reload, does the box stay unchecked, or does it go back to checked?
- Are you using Outlook.com in a browser, or the new Outlook app?
If it goes back to checked every time, I'd suggest sending feedback from Outlook (Help > Feedback) so the Outlook team can take a look. Thank you for your understanding.
