    Hi,

Are you using Windows or macOS?

If you are using a Mac, which version of macOS are you using (for example, Ventura 13, Monterey 12, Sonoma 14, or Sequoia 15)?

Are your Microsoft Office apps updated to the latest version?

In the meantime, you can check and try the solution provided by Microsoft for the 0x0 error here: https://support.microsoft.com/support/known-issues/unknown-error-0x0-license-not-found-error-microsoft365-macos

For a Microsoft 365 Family subscription, activation usually works by signing in to Word with the same Microsoft account that accepted the Family sharing invitation.

    Try this in order:

    1. Open Word.
    2. When prompted, select Sign in and use the Microsoft account that the Family subscription was shared with.
    3. If the Activation Wizard appears, follow the prompts to activate Office.
    4. If Word still shows subscription or activation notices, check that the subscription is active on the Services & subscriptions page and confirm the same account is being used.
    5. If the app shows Product deactivated, select Sign in again. This can happen if the Office install was signed out or deactivated.
    6. If the message is Couldn’t Verify Subscription, reconnect to the Internet and select Retry.

For error 0x0 with activation, run the Microsoft 365 activation troubleshooter if using a Windows PC:

    1. Close Office apps.
    2. Start the Microsoft 365 activation troubleshooter.
    3. If prompted with This site is trying to open Get Help, select Open.
    4. Follow the prompts on the same PC where Microsoft 365 is installed.

    Important:

    • The troubleshooter requires Windows 10 or later.
    • If Office was preinstalled on a new device, a trial or purchase is required unless the shared Microsoft 365 Family subscription is activated by signing in with the invited account.

If the subscription is active but Office still will not activate after the troubleshooter, reinstalling Office is a supported next step.
