There are two screenshots that were created with the snip it tool in Microsoft.

The two screenshots went automatically into the OneDrive/pictures/screenshots folder due to the snip it tool configuration.

Please can you explain the below table.

  1. What is meant by accessed?
  2. The accessed date and time stamp is exactly the same. How is that possible?

Is there a contact person I can have a call with?

“Accessed” includes software reading a file without displaying the picture. Your test of manually opening both images therefore doesn’t rule out other ways the files were accessed.

To investigate, check the original computer’s Security log for Event ID 4663, matching the filenames and time. It can identify the process and access type, but only if auditing was configured for those files beforehand and the logs still exist.

Without supporting records, the exact past action may not be recoverable. Matching timestamps alone cannot prove simultaneous viewing or a person’s intent.

Hi, “Accessed” means the last file-access time recorded by Windows. This can come from a background app, even if you didn’t open the image yourself.

Both files could show the same time if an app accessed them together. Windows can also delay timestamp updates. Matching “Accessed” times do not mean the screenshots were taken at the same time.

Not necessarily. Both files show 2 February 2026 at 10:19:14.35, but matching access times do not prove automation.

Background software or a user-initiated action could access both files. This table alone cannot confirm or rule out deliberate human interaction.
