    Dear NILESH SHAH,

I understand the issue you're experiencing. If you previously disconnected this laptop from OneDrive and are now receiving a message to "contact your administrator" when trying to reconnect it, there are a few things to check.

Step 1: Please verify that your Microsoft 365 account has an active license assigned that includes OneDrive.

Note: If you are using a business account, sign in to https://portal.office.com/account/?ref=Harmony#subscriptions > In the Subscriptions tab, check whether the account is assigned an active Microsoft 365 Business license.

Step 2: Sign out of OneDrive completely. On the affected laptop: Right-click the OneDrive cloud icon > Select Settings > Account > Click Unlink this PC > Close OneDrive.

Step 3: Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school > Disconnect the old work account.

Step 4: Open Credential Manager in Windows > Remove saved Microsoft Office and OneDrive credentials > Restart the computer > Launch OneDrive and sign in again. For reference: Credential Manager in Windows

Step 5: You can also try resetting OneDrive. Resetting Microsoft OneDrive can sometimes resolve sync issues and resets all OneDrive settings. OneDrive will perform a full sync after the reset. For more information and detailed instructions, please refer to Reset OneDrive

    • Press Windows + R and run: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe /reset
    • Wait a minute, then run: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe
    • and try signing in again.

For more information, please refer to Unlink and re-link OneDrive

Moreover, to narrow down the issue, could you provide some additional information:

    • Is this a Microsoft 365 work/school account or a personal Microsoft account (@hotmail.com/@outlook.com)?
    • What is the exact error message displayed by OneDrive? A screenshot of the error would be especially helpful.
    • Does the error appear during sign-in, sync setup, or after entering your password?
    • Does the issue occur on this laptop only, or are you able to sign in to OneDrive successfully from a different device? If possible, could you try signing in to OneDrive on this laptop using a different Microsoft.

If you have any questions or if I have misunderstood anything, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to your update.
