A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
To turn OneDrive back on, start the OneDrive desktop app again and sign in.
On Windows:
- Select Start.
- Type OneDrive.
- Open the OneDrive desktop app.
- Follow the prompts to sign in and complete setup.
If OneDrive is no longer installed:
- Select Start, type Programs, and open Add or remove programs.
- Check whether Microsoft OneDrive is installed.
- If it is not installed, download the Microsoft OneDrive app from the website.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts to sign in and get started.
If OneDrive was turned off because the PC was unlinked, opening the app and signing in reconnects sync. If sync still does not start, manually restart OneDrive from Start by typing OneDrive and opening the desktop app.
If the account is frozen, OneDrive will not sync until the storage issue is fixed. In that case, delete files or buy more storage to get back under the storage quota. Changes can take up to two hours to apply.
