    Hi Dave,

Based on the information currently available, I am not aware of a built-in Teams setting that allows users to directly control the display size of images in chats or channel conversations. Teams typically determines how images are rendered automatically.

As a workaround, you can consider:

    • Clicking the image to open it in a larger view.
    • Using browser or app zoom settings to enlarge the overall Teams interface.

If having more control over image display sizes would be beneficial for your workflow, sharing that feedback with Microsoft via Microsoft Teams feedback portal may help highlight the scenario for future consideration.

Once you've submitted your feedback, feel free to share the link here in the comments. I’ll be happy to upvote it to help bring more visibility.

I hope this information is useful. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yes, but it depends on which pictures are meant in Teams:

    • Pictures in a meeting gallery: the number of participant videos or profile pictures shown can be changed. In a meeting, select View and then choose the Gallery size or Select max gallery size option to show 4, 9, 16, or 49 people at a time on desktop, depending on the meeting view and device support. Teams may still show fewer videos if bandwidth or device memory is low.
    • Group chat image: the group chat image can be changed, but the display size is not described as user-adjustable. Teams supports uploading a custom image, with a maximum upload size of 4 MB.
    • Pasted or attached images in chat/posts: there is no documented setting to manually control the preview size of pasted images. Teams determines the preview layout automatically.
    • Teams Free app window: the desktop app window itself can be resized by dragging the pane edges or corners, which changes how content fits on screen, but this is not the same as directly resizing an individual picture.
