How do I move or copy a folder from one section of a Teams group to another?

Regarding your concern, you can follow the guidance in the forum's AI-suggested answer, as it's accurate. You can move or copy a folder between channels or folders in Microsoft Teams using the desktop or web app:

Open the Team and go to the channel containing the folder > select the Shared tab.
Hover over the folder and select More options (...).
Choose:
- Move to relocate the folder, or
- Copy to retain the original and create a copy.
Browse to the destination Team, channel, or folder. If it is not displayed, select More places.
Select Move here or Copy here.

In Teams on desktop or web, a file can be moved or copied like this:

Select OneDrive > My files.
Find the file to move or copy.
- For a file from a specific channel, find the channel under Quick access or More places...
- Or go to the channel in the Chat tab and select the Shared tab.
Hover over the file and select More options > Move to or Copy to.
Select the destination folder.
Select Move here.

For multiple files, select the check mark next to each file first, then use More options next to one of them and choose Move to or Copy to.

If the goal is to make the same content available in multiple channels or chats, copying is not required. Sharing a link to the file can be used instead.
