Unable to complete Azure for Students verification when signing in with GitHub

Hello,

I am trying to activate Azure for Students through my verified GitHub Student Developer Pack.

My GitHub Student Developer Pack is already verified. However, when I select "Sign in with GitHub" on the Azure for Students verification page, I immediately receive:

"Unable to complete Azure for Students verification."

I have tried the verification process multiple times, but the same error occurs.

I currently don't have an Azure subscription, so I cannot open a normal Azure support ticket.

Could someone from the Azure for Students / Azure Education team please help investigate this verification issue or direct me to the correct support channel?

I can provide proof of student status and additional information if required.

    Since you don’t yet have an Azure subscription, directing you back to a subscription-based support ticket leaves you stuck.

    Try Microsoft’s Azure Education support page and select the request link for your country:

    The page is branded Azure Dev Tools for Teaching, so clearly explain that your issue concerns Azure for Students activation through GitHub and ask for routing to the appropriate team.

    Include your exact error, session ID, UTC timestamp, and the fact that GitHub verification is complete but Azure activation fails immediately.

    Do you also have a university-issued email address? Microsoft’s Azure Education FAQ documents institutional-email verification for Azure for Students. If available, testing that route could help distinguish a GitHub sign-in issue from a broader eligibility problem.
