Microsoft project management software used to plan, manage, and communicate a project schedule and other information among workgroup members, project managers, and other stakeholders.
The “subscription limit for this offer” message means enrollment was blocked by the offer’s eligibility rules; it does not show that a new trial started.
Check the account and tenant
- Determine which account was signed in when you selected “Try now.”
- If it was a personal Microsoft account such as Outlook.com or Hotmail, Planner and Project Plan 3 trials are intended for Microsoft 365 business tenants. Sign in with an organizational work account instead, or have an organization create and license a business tenant.^1^
- If it was a work or school account, continue below.
- Ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to inspect the tenant.
- In the Microsoft 365 admin center, check Billing → Your products for an existing or expired Planner and Project Plan 3 trial.
- Check Billing → Licenses → Requests for a pending, approved, or denied request.
- Check whether license requests or self-service trials are disabled for the organization.
- Check for previous use of the offer in the same tenant.
Offer limits apply across the customer tenant, not merely to the individual enrollment attempt. Microsoft documents that most trials use a lifetime offer limit of one, although the exact limit must be confirmed for this particular SKU.^3^
If the tenant previously obtained the same limited trial—even if it has expired or was assigned to another user—the administrator may need to assign a paid Planner and Project Plan 3 license instead of starting another trial.
If no previous trial or policy block is visible
Open a Microsoft support request and include:
- The exact error text
- The correlation value:
CV: OdtkED0cy8PicUUu.1.10 - The approximate date, time, and time zone of the attempt
- The signed-in account type: personal, work, or school
- Confirmation from the administrator that no active, expired, or pending Plan 3 trial appears
Use Microsoft’s support page and choose the business/account-and-billing route.^4^ Support can determine which offer-level restriction was applied; the displayed message alone does not distinguish prior trial use from another tenant eligibility rule.
A successful eligible enrollment normally provides Planner premium features for 30 days. Depending on organizational settings, the trial may start immediately or require administrator approval.^5^
