At this point, you can try these additional checks:
1, Check the Windows Biometric Service
- Press Win + R, type
services.mscand press Enter. - Find Windows Biometric Service.
- Make sure the service is Running. If it is stopped, start it and restart the PC.
2, Check for Windows Hello errors
- Open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
- Check whether Face or Fingerprint shows a message such as “This option is currently unavailable.”
If so, please share the exact message shown, as this can help narrow down whether the issue is related to the hardware, Windows Hello, or a security setting.
3, Check for a physical camera privacy control
- Some laptops include a camera privacy shutter, hardware switch, or keyboard privacy key. Make sure it is not disabling the IR camera used by Windows Hello Face.
If possible, please also provide the laptop make/model and let us know whether Face and Fingerprint are listed normally under Sign-in options or marked unavailable. That will help determine the most appropriate next step.
