How do I activate my paid for Office subscription on a new MAC computer? I put in the code but it won't activate.

Thanks, John. You were a much greater help than Microsoft! Their greed in pushing their 365 subscription doesn't fly with me. Unfortunately, the version of Office I had on my old computer is no longer supported and unable to be activated on my new computer. So I found a newer version and am in the process of getting it activated.

    Thanks again

    Hi, @John Beehler

To help narrow down the activation issue:

    1. Is this a Microsoft 365 subscription or a one-time Office purchase?
    2. What exact error message appears when you try to activate Office on your new Mac? Could you share a screenshot of the activation screen? Please hide any personal information or product key.

In the meantime, sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services using the Microsoft account associated with your Office purchase. Check whether your subscription or Office license appears there.

    Thanks!
