I have a work account paid by me as a sole trader, and I've been using copilot online all year and all of a sudden this morning after half a dozen requests I get a message that I used my daily chat limit and to try again later. Then it says to upgrade. Monthly I create an agenda for our committee meeting then prepare the minutes and I haven't had any issues. How do I work out why I've just started having this issue. thanks

    Hello Maria Shaw,

I understand why this is confusing, especially since you've been using Copilot for your committee work all year without encountering this limit.

Having a paid Microsoft 365 business account doesn't necessarily mean you have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, and the limits can depend on which Copilot experience you're using.

    Could you clarify two things?

    1. Which Microsoft 365 subscription do you have? You can check at Microsoft 365 Admin Center under Billing > Your products.
    2. Where are you using Copilot? For example, Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat or copilot.microsoft.com?

This should help us determine whether the message relates to your current subscription's usage limits or whether something unexpected is happening.
